Early Voting in Ada County Under Way Monday

Beginning the morning of Monday, Oct. 15, registered voters in Ada County will join citizens in 33 other states and the District of Columbia in early voting. Ada County currently has 212,000 registered voters.

Early voting will be available weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ada County Board of Election at 400 N. Benjamin Lane in Boise.

The 2010 Census and this year's redistricting process have resulted in shifting many Idaho voters into new precincts, so Ada County is mailing all registered voters a notification of where to vote on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Additionally, Ada County has revamped its website to further assist voters.

Voters are reminded that they should try to bring photo identification to register and/or vote, but voters also have the option to sign an affidavit if a photo ID is not available.
