Members of the Boise City Council will be asked Tuesday, Oct. 16, to approve a plan to issue approximately $15 million in revenue bonds to fund a major expansion of the parking garage at the Boise Airport.
The planned expansion is expected to add approximately 1,013 additional parking spots in the airport garage.
If all goes as planned, bids on the bonds would be turned in by Wednesday, Oct. 24, the bonds would be priced by an underwriter and approved by the council on Tuesday, Oct. 30.
Construction of the garage expansion would get under way in January 2013, with completion targeted for November 2013. The projected cost is expected to be $18 million or less.
