WSU Student Survives 11-Story Fall

Yet another student at a regional campus has fallen from a building—this time from 11 stories up.

This morning's Lewiston Tribune reports that a 22-year-old male junior at Washington State University survived the fall from a campus residence hall on Oct. 10. Campus police said there was no evidence of foul play nor was alcohol a factor in the accident.

Police said the young man fell from his dorm room window and landed on a treee before hitting the ground

"It's nothing short of miraculous," WSU spokesman Darin Watkins told the Tribune. "The fact we're even talking about a full recovery is remarkable."

This marked the third fall involving a student at the Pullman campus since August. In nearby Moscow, a University of idaho student fell from his fraternity house window in September.
