Idaho Republican U.S. Sen. Jim Risch ripped into the Obama administration Thursday afternoon from the floor of the U.S. Senate.
Risch, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and ranking member of the Subcommittee on Near Eastern and South and Central Asian Affairs, took particular aim at the White House's foreign policy:
"This is a foreign policy that is in shambles," said Risch. "In the Middle East, it is a foreign policy of apology; it is a foreign policy of appeasement; it is a foreign policy of dithering and looking the other way. This cannot go on."
Risch, an ardent supporter of Mitt Romney's run for the White House in 2008 and again this year, has co-hosted several campaign fundraising events for the GOP presidential nominee.
