Times News: Woman Found Sleepswimming in Snake River

Magic Valley search and rescue teams rescued a Burley woman on Aug. 21 who has a habit of sleepwalking, but this time, she was sleepswimming in the Snake River.

This morning's Twin Falls Times-News reports that a Cassia County judge issued an order to have the 31-year-old woman undergo a mental-health evaluation, and she was found not to be a danger to herself.

Cassia County Sheriff's deputies received a call from the woman's husband early Tuesday, saying she was missing. In a previous incident, deputies located the woman disoriented and soaking wet after swimming in the river. This week, the woman was discovered on a riverbank, wet and hypothermic. It was the third such incident in the past five weeks.
