Police: Boise Man Stuffed Drugs in Infant's Diaper Bag


Boise Police cuffed a man Wednesday after they say he stuffed Oxycontin tablets, meth and drug paraphernalia in an infant's diaper bag. The child, less than 1 year old, was declared to be in imminent danger and turned over to the custody of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

Raul Garcia, 31, of South Phillippi Street was charged with felony counts of possesion of a controlled substance, a probation violation and injury to a child. He was faces a misdemeanor charge of possessing drug paraphernalia.

Law enforcement said they seized more than 300 Oxycontin tablets, some meth and drug parahernalia.
