Bloody Fight Erupts After Payette Soccer Match


A fight over a soccer game in Payette on July 15 ended with two men being taken away in handcuffs.

The Ontario Argus Observer reports that Payette Police had to break up a brawl, involving at least 10 people, which was triggered by the outcome of a Payette soccer match. Law enforcement said several of the participants had been bloodied in the altercation.

When police sirens broke up the melee, most of the the fight's participants fled on foot, but Payette Police ended up cuffing two men, charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and outstanding warrants.
