Take a Look at the New JUMP Designs

A very different looking JUMP project will be unveiled Wednesday, July 18, when Boise's Design Review Committee mulls details of Jack's Urban Meeting Place—the Simplot family's urban multipurpose event space honoring the late J.R. Simplot.

Underground construction at the 7.5 acre site has been under way since March, but designers still need to get the City of Boise's green light to move forward with the six-story, 65,000-square-foot structure, which will be framed by more than three acres of green space.

If all goes as planned, a formal hearing for building approval would be slated for Monday, Aug. 6, another Design Review work session would occur on Wednesday, Sept. 12, and permits could possibly be issued in mid October.
