Primary Preview: Robust Early Voting in Ada County

Armed with hundreds of variations of ballots - with different party ballots for each of Ada County's 145 precincts - Board of Election workers are busy processing early Primary Day voting.

JoMeta Spencer, Ada County election supervisor, told Citydesk that more than 770 voters have already handed in their ballots as the first week of early voting wraps up on North Benjamin Lane.

But voters should be cautioned: Because redistricting put many voters in new precincts and the Idaho Republican Party's new closed-primary rules, the process of casting your ballot definitely takes longer.
