Bill Killen to Step Away From Idaho House

Boise Democratic Rep. Bill Killen is the latest lawmaker to step away from the Idaho Legislature after the 2012 session is complete.

Killen, who had previously filed to run for re-election, opted instead not to run again in November. The 73-year-old District 17 representative cited health concerns as his chief reason. The three-term legislator is a member of the House Judiciary, Rules and Administion, Revenue and Taxation and Transportation and Defense committees.

Democrat John Gannon, Republican Kreed Ray Kleinkopf and Independent Gus Voss are all vying to replace Killen.
