Downton Abbey, Idaho Huckleberries Served Up at White House

The stars of Downton Abbey, George Clooney and a taste of Idaho were all part of the most recent White House State Dinner.

As President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama hosted British Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife, a select number of guests dined on halibut, lettuces from the White House garden, bison Wellington, and for desert: lemon steamed pudding with Idaho huckleberry sauce.

While Oscar winner Clooney provided some star power, much of the buzz surrounded the stars of Downton Abbey, the hugely successful British export that has given PBS some of its highest television ratings in decades. Also on the guest list was golf ace Rory McIlroy and British actor Damian Lewis, star of television's Homeland.
