Video Preview: Coaching the Disabled on Their Voting Rights


According to the U.S. Census, more than 14.9 million disabled Americans voted in the 2008 presidential election, 3.9 million more than had voted in any previous contest.

In Idaho, more adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities are expressing their desire to exercise their constitutional right to vote. But how do caregivers coach the disabled on how to vote without influencing their choices?
