Romney to Visit Boise, Idaho Falls June 20

The last time Mitt Romney was in Idaho, he was campaigning...for somebody else. In October 2010, Romney stumped for someone he called "a good friend," Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter, in his campaign for re-election.

This month, Romney returns looking for his own votes. The Republican presidential candidate is scheduled to appear on June 20, with a breakfast in Boise and a lunch in Idaho Falls. Romney has quite a few GOP friends in Idaho. During his failed 2008 bid, he picked up endorsements from Sen. Jim Risch, Rep. Mike Simpson, seven state senators and 13 house members, in addition to Controller Donna Jones and Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Luna.
