Idaho topped its April revenue projections by $14 million, with General Fund revenues coming in over $377 million. According to the Division of Financial Management, the revenue source has consistently outperformed expectations, with actual receipts coming in above their targets in all but one month of this fiscal year. Corporate income tax revenues came in 41.7 percent higher than predicted and sales tax collections beat forecast by $1.1 million.
As of April 30, Idaho's fiscal year-to-date General Fund revenue stands at more than $2 billion, $74.2 million more than forecast. Year-to-date individual income tax has been up 7 percent more than predicted, product tax has been 4.4 percent higher and corporate income tax came in 32 percent above projections.
