In the wake of a January management shakeup, Boise Co-Op unveiled a new benefit plan for its members today.
Effective immediately, Boise Co-op members accrue points for each dollar spent at the store of its affiliated wine shop. The accumulated points will generate rebate coupons to be awarded on a quarterly basis.
“The last time Boise Co-op was in the news it was the subject of a great deal of controversy and drama,” said store spokesman Michael Boss. “Thankfully, life goes on.”
Former manager Ken Kavanagh was fired by the board in January, setting off a week-long debate that got nasty and, at times, personal. Kavanagh ultimately came to a confidential settlement with the board, ending the public sniping.
