Kristina Ross Pleads Not Guilty, Trial Set for March

The stage is set for what should be a colorful trial, as a Boise woman pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges of pretending to be a plastic surgeon.

Kristina Ross is charged with two felony counts of practicing medicine without a license. Each charge is punishable by up to five years behind bars. Ross has been held at the Ada County lockup since November. Prosecutors said Ross approached two women in two separate bars, pretending to be a doctor. Her trial is scheduled to begin Monday, March 28.

Who is Kristina Ross? In this week's issue of BW, Ross talks exclusively about her troubled past and how she plans to fight the latest charges against her.
