The rapper Too Short has booked a return "engagement" to Boise. Unfortunately, the appearance will be before the bench at the Ada County Courthouse.
Todd Shaw, aka Too Short, was arrested Wednesday night at the Knitting Factory following his concert at the club.
Boise Police report that Shaw/Short got into a fight with security at the Knitting Factory when he was told he couldn't take underage girls backstage and into his dressing room. Three security employees of the club said they were punched, kicked and pushed by Shaw/Short and his associate Michael Walton. Shaw/Short is charged with three counts of misdemeanor battery. Walton is charged with two counts of misdemeanor battery. Both were released from the Ada County Jail early today (Thursday) after posting bond. They face a Wednesday, Aug. 4 court date.
