From now on, anyone attending a concert, lecture or other event at the Morrison Center and planning to park on campus needs to have an extra $5 in hand.
Boise State University and the Morrison Center have implemented a new parking fee, blaming "increased demand for services and to help pay for construction of future parking structures." Until now, only spaces closest to the Morrison Center charged a premium, with a limited number of handicap spaces available.
Now, parking in all spaces—including garages—will cost the $5 fee.
At the bottom of the official release from Boise State, we're reminded that "Boise State is on the rise."
