Sit in on a few editorial meetings at BW, and it'll soon become clear that we aren't the most god-fearing bunch of cultural chroniclers around--but we're usually able to take a live-and-let-crucify attitude on the whole shebang ... usually (see: "If You Can't Beat 'Em, Pick a Different 'Em,'" on the previous page). That said, most of us were pretty shocked when Kim Clark, dean of the Harvard Business School, jumped ship in Cambridge to become president of the upstart Brigham Young University-Idaho. Sure, the fishing's great in Eastern Idaho around Rexburg, but with all the mercury warnings, pregnant women and children aren't allowed to sample any of it--and in LDS country, that really means something!
But we digress. The point is, in case you want to hear Clark give his version of the shift, he'll be a guest on the Charlie Rose Show on PBS, next Monday, March 6, at 10:30 p.m.
