Two-time Oscar winner Jodie Foster—the recent recipient of the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globes—will be the featured guest of the second Sun Valley Film Festival, scheduled for Thursday, March 14- Sunday, March 17.

“I love Sun Valley," wrote Foster in accepting the invitation to visit Idaho. "And I'm happy to support this new film festival that is building on the incredible heritage of a beautiful place.”

Foster is expected to engage with filmmakers and fans at a festival "coffee talk" on Sunday, March 17, a free event. Later the same day, Foster will present the festival's Vision Award, granted to a "special filmmaker and their filmmaking journey."

"We are thrilled to have Jodie join us this year,” said the festival's executive director Teddy Grennan. “Although the festival is only in its second year, the interest we have been generating from filmmakers around the globe, from industry visionaries like Jodie, and from movie lovers across the country has been remarkable.”

This year's festival will feature more than 50 films.
