The final 20,000 boxes of Twinkies, Ding-Dongs and other Hostess products will be sold at select Jewel-Osco supermarkets in the Windy City, according to a company statement released Dec. 10.
"This is a one time, one shot basis," Jewel-Osco spokeswoman Karen May told the NBC affiliate in Chicago.
Twinkies and other Hostess snacks flew off the shelves last month after the 82-year-old company announced it was going out of business over a labor dispute.
The company had 36 bakeries nationwide.
A bankrupty judge ordered Hostess and the union to try mediation first, but they failed to reach an agreement.
A complete list of participating stores and when the Hostess products is available on the Jewel-Osco Facebook page.
