"My bed is like a sailing ship-when I'm tucked in, I take a trip. I leave behind my busy day and sail to places far away."

I dreamt last night that I had moved into a new place and left for a while. When I returned, someone had removed all of the locks on my house and everything was gone, except for skeletal structures like bed frames.

Lauri: To move into a new place in your dreams means you have made a new move in waking life. Have you moved into a new state of mind, new opinion, new way of doing things, new phase of life? Whatever the move is, it has left you feeling a little vulnerable and perhaps even afraid of losing everything you have worked for! The bed frames are a good indication it may have to do with the intimacy department. Any changes going on there? Your dream may be telling you it is time to start over ... from scratch!

Tina replies: You are accurate about me starting a new life. I am going through a divorce and part of me is happy and part of me is not ready for the new start. We were only married for 10 months. I felt like we were meant to be together forever and we just are not. We are going down paths that are not the same. The intimacy part was right on, too, as I am having a hard time wanting to be close to anyone now. Thank you.

Fascinating Dream Fact: In many ancient tribes, men who wanted advice from dead ancestors would sleep on the skull of a dead relative, using it as a headrest in hopes that the relative's spirit would visit their dreams and give them advice.
