Boise police and officials at Boise State University issued a so-called "Bronco Alert" early Thursday, saying law enforcement was investigating a report of a sexual assault in the area of West Boise Avenue and Juanita Street, southwest of the Boise State main campus.

Police said the incident occurred just before midnight Wednesday when a male approached an adult female victim as she was exiting a residence. The suspect reportedly fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s or 40s, with short blond hair and heavy acne on his face. He was wearing a light blue shirt.  Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.

Three weeks ago, a Boise man was arrested in connection with another report of sexual assault on Manitou Avenue, south of the main campus.
