Made it out of Breckenridge n headed to Denver after some tea n coffee n sightseeing downtown. We loaded into the gig @ Cervantes Otherside with the usual skepticism of leaving our van in the alley behind the place due to the zombie's that always seem to be wondering around the building. Local band "Home" opened up with a great set filled with 3 and 4 part harmonies. We've been waiting to play with them for years now after crashing at their house our first time playing in Denver, brought there by their old drummer so high on cocaine and mushrooms he could barely guide us. Opened up our set with the first track off our new album, "like mick said" which has this great old rocknroll feel, into "Idaho" and "Otherside" which ive been tryin to play acoustic guitar on more nowadays. After a few spliffs in the strange green room basement under the stage, we packed up and headed over to YAMN'S house and caught some much needed sleep. Playing St. Patty's tmrw in Nederland, CO! A small mountain town that reminds me of the town i grew up in, Donnelly, ID with its town drunks that are always at the bar, wanting to help us load in. Whiskey and bluegrass!!!!
