Craft beer is more than crunk juice, and connoisseurs now apply the same weights and measures to the canned, bottled and kegged treat that other people use on wine, cigars and other refined vices.

Starting at 5 p.m. at The Front Door, Deschutes Brewing's John "Abe" Abraham will be holding court, rubbing elbows with Boise beer lovers, talking about his experiences and insights into brewing and—go figure—partaking of The Front Door's tap list, specially fitted with five Deschutes brews, including: Fresh Squeezed, Mirror Pond, Great Lakes Smoked Porter, Class of '88 Barleywine and River Ale.
