Boise Weekly's 11th annual Black and White Photo Contest is now open, and time is running out to get your entries in. All entries are due to BWHQ no later than 5 p.m., Wednesday, June 12.
As you might have guessed, all photographs must be in black and white. They must also be at least 8 inches on one side and mounted on a white, 16-inch by 20-inch poster board, foam core or mat board. High-quality digital prints are accepted.
Entry fees are $5 per photograph, and all fees go to prize money for the winners. All entries need to include the photographer's full name, phone number and address on the back, as well as which of three categories the photo is being submitted in: People, places or things.
Photographers are welcome to enter as many images as they like, but a separate entry fee must be paid for each. The wining entry will be published on the cover of the Boise Weekly, Wednesday, June 26.
