Record Store Day, which goes down Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Record Exchange, was started six years ago as a sort of Hallmark holiday for independent record stores. Sure, it's based in commerce, but it also brings with it parties and hundreds of weird special releases.
The complete list of special releases that will be featured at The Record Exchange this year can be seen here.
However, anyone wondering what the heck this Record Store Day business is all about can check out the episode of Scenes From a Scene that BW shot at last year's RSD.
