Payette Brewing Company in Garden City isn't merely making the first cans of its Outlaw India Pale Ale and North Fork Lager available at grocery stores—it's throwing a rodeo party to celebrate.

On Saturday, April 6, Payette is hosting a mini rodeo from noon-10 p.m. at its brewing facility at 111 W. 33rd St., where folks can participate in events and competitions starting at 3 p.m., including a keg lasso, a Nerf shooting gallery and mechanical bull-riding. The winner of the bull-riding contest scores a case of Outlaw IPA. There will also be live music, with The Bourbon Dogs at noon and Emily Tipton at 7 p.m.

And no Payette event would be complete without food truck fare. For the mini rodeo, hot eats come from Rolling Hawg, Burgerlicious and Calle 75.

And don't forget the beer. Individual cans sell for $3, or $9 for a six-pack.
