Boise band Edmond Dantes, the grown-up musical project of Boise Rock School's Ryan Peck and Andrew Stensaas, dropped its debut EP, Etta, on the Internet today.

The four tracks and a remix are a solid collection of pop tunes that use strong melodic hooks and straight-ahead beats to craft tunes that are equal parts The Killers and Hall and Oates.

The collection also includes a dance remix of the EP's bluesy second track, "I Don't Like You," called "I Don't Like You (China Bleu Cheese remix)."

The EP is available for streaming below and can be downloaded via Bandcamp here.

The danceable duo will perform a pair of release shows in February: one on Valentine's Day, Thursday, Feb. 14, at 8 p.m. at Neurolux, and an all-ages release at The Linen Building Saturday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. The Neurolux show is $3. The Linen Building show costs $8 at the door and features The Dirty Moogs, Hey V Kay and teen band Give Chase opening.
