Matt Damon has been bumped from ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live more than a 1,000 times. Thursday night, he bumped back.
"This is like the time I lost my virginity, except this is going to last way longer than one second," said Damon, who took over the show as Kimmel was tied to a chair at the back of the set with a gag in his mouth.
Kimmel has joked at the end of every one of his shows (for more than a decade), "My apologies to Matt Damon tonight, we ran out of time."
But last night, Damon took command, introducing a slew of A-list celebrities: Nicole Kidman, Amy Adams, Reese Witherspoon, Robert DeNiro, Demi Moore, Don Cheadle, Oprah Winfrey, Ben Affleck and even had Sheryl Crow lead the band and Andy Garcia act as his new security guard.
"Just for starters," Damon told studio audience, "let me ask you guys this: As an audience, is it weird to see a person with actual talent host this show?"
