Lithuanian photographer and architect Tadao Cern wondered what famous Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh would look like had high-quality photography existed during his lifetime.
And like any intrepid artist, Cern was determined to find out. So he used one of Van Gogh's most iconic self-portraits to digitally recreate the painter. The result shows a conversion of the original into a photo that could have been taken yesterday.
