It’s officially the day to feel guilty for all those things you did last year that you know you really shouldn’t have done, but you just couldn’t help yourself, and you promise you’ll make up for it this year.
Of course, we’re all so busy, it’s hard to give those resolutions as much attention as they deserve, so how about a little multitasking when you can check a few things off your guilt list: Get some exercise, get outdoors more, and give back.
The Bogus Basin Nordic Team is offering the perfect opportunity to do just that with a special early season cross-country skiing clinic Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Bogus Basin Nordic Center.
The two-hour clinic is designed for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, and includes groups for both skate-skiing and classic techniques. Both groups will do drills to improve balance, timing and all sorts of other things to keep you not only upright, but improve your overall skiing.
Two sessions are being offered: 9:30-11:30 a.m. or 1-3 p.m. The cost to participate is $42 per session or $63 for both, plus the cost of a Bogus Basin Trial Pass ($14 for a full-day adult pass). Equipment is not provided.
All proceeds from the workshop will go to benefit the Nordic Team.
