Though we're quick to grumble at any event with the overused "palooza" tacked onto the end, we're granting this one a reprieve. Friday, Dec. 28, Salt Tears will present Lamb-a-palooza II, which features lamb chops, loin and leg roast from Idaho's Rockland Ranch, along with green beans and garlic mashed potatoes for $23 a person.
According to Idaho Preferred's website, Rockland Ranch raises only Suffolk lambs from Suffolk County, Ireland, that are "fed a diet of natural grass pasture, molasses, rolled corn and alfalfa hay," and aren't treated with hormones, preservatives or stimulants.
The event starts at 5 p.m., and Salt Tears encourages customers to show up early, as the meal sold out last time.
