Brundage, Pomerelle Opening Friday, Dec. 14; Tamarck Opens Saturday, Dec. 15

A little snow goes a long way. Thanks to weekend storms, Brundage Mountain Resort in McCall will open for the season on Friday, Dec. 14, as will Pomerelle Mountain Resort in Albion.

While storms had been piling snow up on the Brundage's summit, warm temps had kept things pretty soggy at the base. That was until temperatures dropped and allowed another 9 inches of snow to build up at the baseā€”just enough to allow the hill to open, according to a press release issued by Brundage.

The resort will open the BlueBird quad chairlift, as well as Easy Street and Lakeview chairlifts. Lower elevation runs still need more snow before they can open, but more is expected in the weather forecast for the coming week.

Check the latest conditions and lift ticket pricing at Brundage's website.

Pomerelle was actually able to have a limited opening on Dec. 8, but is closed through the week and will reopen for the season on Friday. For more info, visit the website.
