Need Something To Do Saturday?

Meet Eddy Trout at the Boise WaterShed.

What's scarier than all the haunted Halloween goings-on this time of year? Wastewater, aka sewage. And today, you can go freak yourself out with some Halloween-themed stuff and plenty of references to poop.

The Boise WaterShed will host the Greening Your Halloween WaterShed Weekend today from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Eddy Trout will guide visitors through the treatment facility on a haunted wastewater tour at 12:30 p.m., 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Tours are limited to the first 40 people ages 7 and older. Closed-toe shoes are required, so leave your flip-flops at home.

In the transformed exhibit hall, attendees can make costumes out of repurposed items and complement their look with face painting, then show off their creativity with a costume parade at noon. Learn more about the event and other neat-o WaterShed events at its website.
