Bengt Washburn, the "Mormon comic," plays it straight when talking about going on a mission, admitting that asking people to examine your rash is probably a better ice-breaker with strangers than religion. He also discusses his own discovery that Mormonism is "weird."
How did he discover this?
"Because only weirdos let us in," Washburn said.
Washburn plays Liquid Laughs starting today at 8 p.m. through Sunday, Oct. 14. Additional shows are Friday and Saturday nights at 10:15 p.m. Alyssa Cowan will open.
Tickets are $10 and are available online or at the door.
