If you've been to the Boise Co-op recently, you've probably noticed that things look a little different. The beloved North End grocery store had a little nip, tuck and facelift and is officially celebrating its glorious new look today, along with the fifth anniversary of the Co-op Wineshop's expanded location across the exceptionally treacherous parking lot.
And how does a North End grocery store celebrate? With a party in said parking lot. From noon-5 p.m., you can bring your offspring to enjoy bouncy houses and baby goats. In addition to activities for the kids, adults can enjoy wine specials and tastings, along with beer from local vendors.
The Idaho Humane Society will help celebrate the opening of the Co-op's Pet Shop by bringing its Adopt-a-Pet program to the shop. Local vets and animal experts will also be in attendance.
Wine and pet products will be given away, and if you arrive at the party on your bicycle, you can score an extra ticket and better your chances of winning.
Don't forget to bring a coat and help jump-start the Co-op's holiday coat drive while you enjoy music by Country Club.
