The fast-food chain Qdoba Mexican Grill will officially open its fourth Treasure Valley outlet today at 590 S. Broadway Ave., at the intersection with Park Boulevard.
Owned by Jack in the Box, Inc., Qdoba specializes in casual dining, with a selection of customizable food prepared in front of customers. Offerings include a Mexican-style take on gumbo, tacos, quesadillas, salads and burritos with rice, beans, shredded meat, salsas and vegetarian options.
In keeping with more diet-minded trends, the chain also offers smaller portion meals hovering around 150-300 calories per item. Alternatively, the queso burrito with all the trimmings can reach almost 1,000 calories.
Qdoba will offer the first 100 lunch guests a reusable rewards card redeemable for a FREE entree, and an I Love Qdoba T-shirt, beginning at 11 a.m. The first 100 dinner guests after 5 p.m. will receive the same offer.
Additional events are planned through Tuesday, Aug. 7, including FREE kids meals for children under 12 all day Sunday, Aug. 5.
