The summer Olympic games in London are little more than a month away. And while you're preparing to watch a ton of running and swimming competitions, the Boise WaterShed wants to give you a way to have your own aqua-fun with its Water Olympics.
Today from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., you can bring the kiddies and enjoy a slew of tabletop water games in the exhibit hall while learning about the properties of water—like cohesion, adhesion and surface tension.
Outside, kids can play with Super Soakers and water balloons before taking a tour of the wastewater treatment plant at 1 p.m. Bring a dry change of clothes and closed-toed shoes for the tour.
Admission to the WaterShed's Water Olympics is FREE and no registration is required.
