Matisyahu and Dirty Heads are co-headlining a tour that will come through Boise on Wednesday, Sept. 26. Matisyahu combines reggae and alternative rock with Jewish themes. His fourth studio album, Spark Seeker, is set to drop on Tuesday, July 17. The Dirty Heads will also be releasing a new studio album, Cabin By the Sea, on Tuesday, June 19. Tickets for the Boise show went on sale at 10 a.m. today, Friday, June 1, for $30, with Platinum Skybox tickets available for $60 at ticketfly.com. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.
The Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival is returning to town on Wednesday, July 4, at the Idaho Center Amphitheater. The fest will feature big names such as Slayer, Slipknot, Anthrax, Motorhead and more. The first 3,000 tickets have already sold out. Remaining tickets are available at $49.50, but if you wait until the day of the show, prices jump to $55. In addition to the bands, there will be special booths, interactive activities and freestyle motorcycle jumping from Metal Mulisha. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and the show is set to start at 1:30 p.m.
