It's official: the MK Nature Center will house the next Boise Food Truck Rally on Friday, April 13, at 5 p.m. To smooth out the problems from the event on March 9, rally organizers have taken to Facebook for input on keeping lines short and faces stuffed.

"Would cash only transactions help? It saves time from printing and signning [sic] receipts. If it takes half a minute for each person, it adds up as you go down the line," suggested Jonathan Oh.

More than a dozen fans suggested ideas, mostly about truck layout. Past rallies have ringed the carts in a horseshoe with seating at folding tables in the middle. But when the lines got long, the space became jammed with wall-to-wall people. More than one person suggested a paper menu from which to browse each cart's offerings.

"[A] printed menu would be ideal, but also would probably create a lot of clean up," wrote Eric Josephson. "If every food truck would tweet, and post on Facebook their menu the day before the rally, I think that would work as well!"

Food Truck Rally organizers also leveraged Facebook's Questions app to survey their users on the idea of beer tokens to ease suds lines. Twenty-three users voted in favor of a token system, while some suggested limiting the number of brews.

If you can't wait for the next food truck powwow, hit up B29 Streatery, Big Daddy BBQ and Riceworks while they sling eats in the trenches outside the Linen Building at Treefort Music Fest, starting today, March 23, and running through Sunday, March 25, from 4-10 p.m.ish.
