Remember what it was like flipping through the CD case of the coolest person you knew? Every unknown album title held mystery.
A night with DJ Dug Martsch soaks an audience in that feeling. Build to Spill frontman and Boise native Doug Martsch pulls listeners in to his circle with each set, making them cool by association. By the end of the night, Martsch has drenched the dancing masses in his favorite music.
But while Martsch may be famous for belting out heartfelt indie with catchy guitar hooks, his DJ sets swing a different direction. Tracks flow from old school reggae to Motown to electronica to '80s pop.
You can cut a rug with DJ Dug during Treefort Music Fest on Friday, March 23 at Neurolux from 11:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m.
