SXSW is known as a major launching pad for some of the the most innovative trends in music, film and technology. But this year, sex toys will be added to that list. Avn.com is reporting that Fleshlight, the best-selling male sex-toy in the biz, has announced plans to prowl the streets of Austin this year to pimp its masterbatory aids.
From the article:
Lisa Ann and Tori Black, two of the Fleshlight girls, will be walking the streets of downtown Austin during the afternoons and will be taking photos with the thousands of SXSW attendees. The goal is to get the fans to take photos with the Fleshlight mascot and tweet them live on the spot.
Fleshlight also will be set up in front of The Jackalope Bar on 6th Street in downtown Austin (404 E. 6th St.), giving away chances to win exclusive prizes.
“As the largest music festival in the country, we thought it would be a great social-media opportunity to interact with attendees at street level,” said Orlando Rios, Fleshlight’s social-media director. “We think attendees will get a kick out of the funny, giant, walking Fleshlight mascot—not to mention Lisa Ann and Tori Black in person.”
For those unfamiliar with the Fleshlight, it's something of a combination between the soda-can safe and "the Fifi," which houses a rubber vagina inside the body of a flashlight. It's fantastic for those with a shameful need to hide their "nightime activities" or mechanophilia.
