Tickets went on sale this morning for Treefort Music Fest, Boise’s four-day music spectacular.
The first tier of tickets went for $49, and sold out faster than expected—in less than two minutes.
“Forty-nine dollars is practically a steal,” said festival promoter Eric Gilbert.
But if you weren’t one of the lucky 50 to snag the cheap tix, general admission tickets are now selling for $79. That's not half bad, considering you’ll be able to catch of Montreal, Built to Spill, WHY? and a ton of other awesome bands.
Treefort organizers are excited about the initial interest.
“I was pleasantly shocked about it,” said Matt Dalley, Treefort’s press contact. “It can be hard to gauge the level of excitement sometimes with stuff like this, so I was really happy with the kind of turnout we had today. I think it’s a good sign for the rest of the festival.”
