Need Something To Do Thursday?

This time of year is all about pine. Pine trees are taken indoors and decked out with as much holiday glitz as they can physically stand, pine cones are used in seasonal home decor, and outdoor enthusiasts try to dodge pine trees while skiing down snowy mountains.

If you'd like to see a different kind of pine, head to the Eagle Performing Arts Center today from 6-9 p.m. for the opening reception for BW cover artist Troy Passey's latest installation, Pine.

According to EPAC's website, "Passey's installation will involve spare sculptures, creating a space that speaks of time, memory and loss."

So if you're pining for an engaging cultural experience, don't miss this exhibit.
