OK, skiers and boarders: If you've been left drooling and with a slight twitch after the first flakes of the season filled the air in Boise, there is something to help bring your ski-lust under control until the hills actually open. The 61st annual Ski and Snowboard Swap is taking over Expo Idaho from Friday, Nov. 4 through Sunday, Nov. 6.
The event—which benefits the Bogus Basin Ski Education Foundation—serves as an annual appetizer for the pending ski season. Skiers and boarders can pick up new and used Alpine and Nordic gear from the selection of more than 20,000 items, while others rid themselves of the piles of equipment to make room for their latest toys.
The Swap opens to buyers at 5 p.m. on Friday and runs through 10 p.m. The action continues on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 6 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission is $3, unless you're 11 or younger, then you can get in for free.
