Laura Gibson Signs to Barsuk

We just got news from Barsuk Records, home of Death Cab for Cutie, Ra Ra Riot, and Rilo Kiley, that the label has signed Portland folk darling Laura Gibson.

[We've] been fans of her enchanting voice and otherworldly songwriting for quite some time, so it’s with happy hearts that Barsuk gets to help share Laura’s music with the world. She's a unique and sincere personality with boundless creativity, and is lovingly welcomed into the Barsuk roster.

Gibson recently released the single "Milk-Heavy, Pollen-Eyed" from her follow-up to 2009's Beasts of Seasons, which is slated to drop in early 2012.
