Super-writer Neil Gaiman, the mind behind American Gods, the Sandman graphic novels, The Graveyard Book, and so much more, wants to write a short story with you.
Gaiman and several other prominent members of the Society of Authors will be collaborating with the twitterverse to pen new short stories during the next six weeks. The event, #WriterWednesday, will start this week with a line tweeted by award-winning crime novelist Ian Rankin, via the Society of Authors twitter account @Soc_of_Authors.
Anyone following the account has 30 minutes to respond with the next line. The author will then select his or her favorite and tweet that and so on and so on until the story is done. The next week, there will be a different author.
Send in a few lines and then sit back and wait for the royalty checks to start rolling in. But get some snacks, cause it might be awhile.
