Let's not dance around the issue: We all eat too much during the holidays. Then, we suffer through hearing the same story our uncle tells every year because we're too bloated and lethargic to get up and walk away from him.
The pattern continues. We call it winter weight, but the truth is, it's just weight. We know we're full but we keep eating straight through to spring.
It's a vicious cycle that we get sucked into year after year.
So today, rather than waiting until all that happens, why not get ahead of the curve?
Overeaters Anonymous meets today at 7 p.m. at the All Saints Episcopal Church. There are no dues or weigh-ins, just good folks out to support one another to regain control over their lives.
