BWHQ-ville is about to get even more badass. Not only is The Flicks popcorn kernel-throwing distance from us, but we can also go bum a cup of sugar (or a blowtorch?) from our nabes at Classic Design Studio, Boise Art Glass and Rocket Neon. Well, now there’s another rad business moving onto the block: Bricolage.
Wait, what’s that? Bricolage is moving again? True that. After switching locations from inside the Eighth Street Micro Mall to the former Alexa Rose Gallery space, the Bricoladies are packing things up again. The craft store and gallery space’s new home is 418 S. Sixth St. on the corner-ish of Sixth and Myrtle, between Boise Art Glass and Classic Design.
Bricolage will have an estate sale at its old location across from Superb Sushi on Saturday, July 30, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and then will be closed from Sunday, July 24, through Thursday, Aug. 4. There are some big, bad re-opening festivities planned for First Thursday, Aug. 4, including an art show by Erin Cunningham, a keg, snacks by Brook Slee and a photobooth.
But before any of that can happen, Bricolage has to cart everything to its new home. Here’s a plea for help they issued in a recent press release:
“We need some help! Do you have big strong muscles? Do you have a rough and tumble pickup truck? We've had lots of offers, and are so grateful for all the help we've already received. If you would like to lend us a hand, drop us a line by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone (208-345-3718) and let us know what your availability/superpower is.”
